If you’re not the plus size person, you may not have used the plus size clothing. However, if you are an oversized or above average person, the term “oversize” is a familiar term and a familiar aspect of your shopping list. Excess is becoming a bigger part of the mainstream.

Plus sizes are items of clothing that have a numerical size from 14W to size 26. They are also known as X-size (1X, 2X, etc.) and have the corresponding numerical sizes. You can even see or hear the oversized clothing commonly referred to as “women’s sizes”.

Many retail stores should have a separate plus size section. As the obesity rate increases day by day in the US, plus size is becoming a major attraction for retailers.
